Damn. Bloody LiveJournal ate my post about going to the cricket.
Here are the main points.
1) Dad enjoyed being at the cricket with me rather than He Crow.
2) Dad is also a bit frustrated having guests at the Collaroy Castle. Why they invited He Crow and She Crow in the first place remains uncertain.
3) I enjoy cricket, I used to play, but it was never going to be my game. I haven't got the fine motor skills (or patience) for it. I much prefer playing games that involve running around and hitting things.
4) We had a few beers in our box whilst wathcing the antics of the yobbos on the opposite side of the ground chanting, batting around beach balls, waving a banner that strangely enough read "BANNER", and watching a man in a Santa suit being led away by police. This kind of behaviour is kind of amusing at the cricket, even thought it would annoy me under other circumstances.
5) We were less impressed by the antics of the Australian batsmen.
Back to work tomorrow.
That is all.
