Soon things will be exciting...

YW: 50 heavy deadlifts, 50 heavy floor wipers, 100 openers, 100 closers, 100 heavy leg presses, ring dips and hanging pullups in between sets, 40kg weighted pushups for dessert.
TW: 10 corner pulls, 10 corner pushes left and right - 5 rounds. Row 400m, 20 bicep curls - 5 rounds.
Also, I'm pretty sure a girl at the gym is hitting on me.
I'm waiting for Parliament to sit again. The only work I had at the beginning of this week was corro, which just felt pointless. Over the past few days I read letter and e-mails and took calls from people who were complaining about other politicians in other jurisdictions, from people who were complaining at the prospect that they may not be able to claim losses from their vineyards against their taxable income because they earn over $250,000, and from people who want us to offer cabinet positions including the Deputy Prime Ministership to the independents. Soon Parliament will be back and things will be interesting, but until then I have little motivation.
On the upside, it looks like I will be making some visits to new MPs soon. This will be work travel that is limited and far less likely to piss me off. I worry sometimes that I'm not as good at my job or as advanced in my career as I could be but that is normally coupled with the feeling that there is no point to the work I am doing. Interesting work is on its way, and I don't mind that at all.
Visiting America is looming much larger on the radar now. I am much more interested in that than I am in pretty much anything else scheduled in the interim.
