I have my mud run pics.


Glaring at the photographer?


It's easy to want to run when you get out of the water.  It's not so easy to actually run.


Getting psyched up for a slide and putting on my war face.


About 1km of the 10km run involved wading through waist deep water.


Sprinting to the finish after doing pushups in the mud.


I was told I looked like was auditioning for a role in the black and white minstrel show.

Man that was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!!

Wow, that's a pretty impressive mud bath. If you'd gone to a day spa, you'd have paid at least $150 for the privilege of a similar kind of smothering.

Yes. And I would also have to live with the knowledge that I'm the kind of person who pays $150 to be covered in mud without even getting the chance to risk injuring myself.

It had rained the night before and had stopped by the time of the race but it was still overcast. It was around 75F so not cold at all, though sometimes the water was a bit colder.

It was fun, but it was also an opportunity to be tougher than those wimpy people who skirted around one of the water obstacles instead of going through the middle.

Cool! That looks basically the same as my adventures in Poland, apart from the runability of the course (about 90% of our race was wading through waist-deep water/sludge)
